A Month of MAC: MAC Lady Danger

Hey there,

Today I bring you one of my favourite lipsticks that MAC do. Ladies and Gentlemen, Meet MAC Lady Danger.

This photo was taken in my London hotel room this weekend... it had the worst lighting in the world but it still shows the colour.

This Matte finish lipstick is described by MAC as a Vivid Bright Coral Red. Its a perfect bright red colour that is perfect for a pop of colour.

A Month of MAC: MAC Shy Girl

Hey there,

This lipstick has already been on this blog before, so if you have been with me for a while, you'll know my opinions on it but if you are new... Meet MAC Shy Girl.

Like I said at the top of this post, this lipstick has been on the blog before and I said it there and will say it again now... this is my least favourite lipstick that MAC do that I have in my collection. It something about the colour of the lipstick and the tone of my skin that I just don't think work very well.

MAC describe this Cremesheen lipstick as a Creamy Neutral Coral Beige.

A Month of MAC: MAC Girl About Town

Hey there,

Another day, another lipstick.
Today is another little bold pink number. Ladies and Gentlemen...meet MAC Girl About Town.

Love this colour!!

If you have been following this series so far then you might see similarities between this lipstick and Show Orchid.  They are both Amplified Finish lipsticks and the shades are similar. However I find Girl about Town to be a little deeper of a pink and it doesn't have the slight iridescence that Show Orchid has.

MAC describes this lipstick as a Bright Blue Fuchsia.

A Month of MAC: MAC Show Orchid

Hey there,

Today I am sharing with you a very special lipstick for me. It was my first Pro Range lipstick and it is also the first "high end" lipstick that I bought in London. I decided to wear this on my Birthday this year after hearing Aimee and Vanessa talking about it at a blogging event I went to last week.

It's gorgeous, it's lovely... Ladies and Gentlemen, meet MAC Show Orchid.

Would you just look at this lipstick! Can you tell why I love it?

This Amplified lipstick is described as a Vivid Hot Pink but what I find it forgets to mention is the slight iridescence or shimmer this lipstick has which I think just shoots it onto the next level.

I can't tell you how much I love this lipstick, any chance to wear it and I'm all over it. It is a lipstick that people say they are too scared to wear this lipstick but it is one that is definitely for everyone...trust me, I'm a lipstick addict.

A Month of MAC: MAC Up the Amp

Hey there,

So I realised we are on day 9 and I have yet to introduce a purple lipstick. This is weird as purple is my favourite colour and I have 3/4 MAC purples. So today I suggest we change that.

Ladies and Gentlemen, may I introduce.... MAC Up the Amp.

Excuse my no make up icky face. This lipstick is one that is probably going to scare a few and interest some more. Obviously, when all make up is applied it can look a little different but you get this look instead.

MAC describes this Amplified lipstick as a Lavender Violet. In easier terms, it is a light purple.  Like I said it's not for everyone but it is a pretty lipstick if done right.
