Charlotte Tilbury Glastonberry

Hey there,

On this blog, there has a been a lot of posts about MAC lipsticks. It is only when I looked back over all my posts that I really realised this. I think this is what happens when your MAC collection is filled with 47 lipsticks #sorrynotsorry.

Today's post isn't about of my many MAC lipsticks. Today's post is about the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick in the shade Glastonberry.

I picked this lipstick to wear to see the band Queen because I felt it fit in well with the rock chick image. Plus the name itself Glastonberry, has big connotations to the massive music festival which takes place in the UK every summer.

Anyway onto the lipstick itself... This shade can look intimidating in the bullet because it is a rather deep shade but on the lips I think you see it isn't too scary. I'd call this a deep red berry shade that is just perfect for a vampy wintery look.

The formula of the Charlotte Tilbury Lipsticks is something special too. The original K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipsticks are amazing and these are great too. They apply nicely and feel a little creamy on the lips but they "set" to a matte finish.

Have you tried this lipstick? What did you think?
Let me know in the comments.

Lots of Love,
Clare

A Month of MAC: MAC Rebel

Hey there,

So after yesterday's very summery pick, today's is the complete opposite, it is a lipstick that I only really wear once it gets colder, when the jumpers are on and the nights get darker a lot quicker.

I guess it shows how varied my collection is that I can go from a very bright pink to this beauty. Ladies and Gentlemen, meet MAC Rebel.

MAC Rebel Lipstick

Look at this selfie, the foundation is a little too dark and I have no eyebrows... you can tell this is an old picture (say a year and a half maybe 2 years ago). Anyway the lipstick although scary in the tube comes out as a beautiful blackberry shade on the lips.

It is described by MAC as a Midtonal Cream Plum, it is the best kind of berry shade for the cooler months and because it is a Satin Finish the colour is there but it isn't as overpowering as say an amplified finish would be.

What do you think? Is this your kind of lipstick?
No? Well maybe tomorrow will be the lipstick of your dreams.

Lots of Love,
Clare
