A Month of MAC: MAC Peach Blossom

Hey there,

Another day, another MAC Lipstick. Today is a lovely natural shade that is a very new one to me because I picked it up during the Debenhams £5 off a lipstick offer.

Ladies and Gentlemen, meet MAC Peach Blossom.

Please excuse the blurry final picture.. I was literally running out the door at the time but I'm sure you can see the colour.

This colour is a great natural nude colour, I was worried it would be too close to the likes of Creme Cup, but I didn't need to be worried. MAC describes this colour as a Frosted Cool Nude, which as MAC descriptions goes that one is terrible (sorry MAC I still love you). This shade to me is a slight hint of pink washed over the lips.

This Cremesheen lipstick was very easy to apply, it was a super creamy one with great amounts sheen... no I can't believe I wrote that sentence either.

A Month of MAC: MAC Patisserie

Hey there,

Another day, another lipstick.  Today's lipstick is a kind of a newbie in my collection as I've only owned it for a couple of months. It was a lipstick that was totally enabled by watching the YouTube videos of the likes of Anna from Vivianna Loves Make up and Lily Pebbles who have subconsciously been telling me I need this lipstick for a while...

Ladies and Gentlemen, meet MAC Patisserie.

I knew this one would be a little tricky to photograph and I wasn't wrong. You see this Lustre Finish lipstick is pretty much my lip colour apart from it being a touch pinker, which means although it's a perfect lipstick to own in case I want to go wild with my eyes it can be an utter pain to share the colour with you all.

MAC describes Patisserie as a Sheer Creamy Neutral Pink. I have no arguments with this, it is definitely one of the ultimate (sorry I know people hate this term) your lips but better shades.

What do you think of this lipstick? Would you buy it?
If not maybe tomorrow's will be more your thing.

30 Days 30 Lipsticks Day #12 MUA shade 8

Hello there, 

Its another late one from me. As I am writing this post, it's half 9 but I have an excuse! I've been at work all day plus we had the Christmas play tonight so I didn't get into the house until 9pm. I'm so tired so apologies for my tired out face in the pictures.

Today's lipstick has the price tag of £1, which is a gosh darn bargain and it is the MUA lipstick in Shade 8.

  

Shade 8 is a neutral pink with shimmer running through it. There's not so much shimmer that you have glitter lips but enough that if you swatch it on the back of the hand, you will be left glittery.

It has a creamy finish (can you tell I like my creamy finishes?) and it lasts about 2 hours on the lips, unless I'm eating as it does transfer quite easily. 

What do you think of the MUA lipsticks?
