MAC Soar and Snob.. a dream team in the making?

Hey Lovelies,

Like most people out there, I'm a big YouTube fan, I probably watch more YT than television nowadays plus I have my own YouTube Channel which I post on twice a week so most of my life is on that site.

Whilst watching one of Lorna from Scared Toast, she mentioned a MAC pairing that I had not considered before. She mentioned putting MAC Soar Lipliner underneath Snob Lipstick.I bought Soar Lipliner recently thanks to the Kylie Jenner effect and Snob is a lipstick I've had for a while but hardly wear because it's quite light and blue toned.

I decided to try out Lorna's lipstick duo recently and I liked the results so I thought I'd share it with you all.

Soar Lipliner Left,Snob Right

The pairing together leaves a gorgeous deep pinky nude, which reminds me a bit of a more opaque version of  MAC Faux Lipstick. The deep tones of the Soar lipliner deepens the pale baby pink of Snob however the blue tones of Snob gives the final result a slight purple tinge to it. I'm so delighted for finding out about this pairing.

What do you think?
Lots of Love,

Chanel Boy

Hello,

Sometimes, once in a blue moon, you find something you can't live without that you can buy from a blog sale. In previous blog sale purchases, I have picked up perfumes for super reduced prices and one of the best finds was a hardly used 50ml bottle of Estee Lauder Advance Night Repair for around £20 (it retails for over double that in stores).

However, I think my favourite purchase from a blog sale is a lipstick, Chanel Boy.

This lipstick is a perfect lipstick which can be paired with many a beauty look, from a simple every day look to a deep smokey eye this lipstick can do no wrong.

I first was introduced to this lipstick after watching Fleur De Force videos. For many years, she has mentioned this lipstick as one of her favourite PLUS I believe it was this lipstick which she picked for her wedding look.

The colour of this lipstick is a pink, which on me is a little darker than my natural lip colour (but only a tad). I can definitely see why a lot of people (including FDF) pick this as a bridal lipstick because it is such as sophisticated lip colour.that can easily be retouched without a mirror.

Chanel Boy is from the Rouge Coco Shine range. From experience this range has medium pigment but feels very balmy on the lips. Think a MAC Lustre Finish for pigmentation but with more of a Revlon Lip Butter balmy feel to it if that makes sense.

I'm so glad I found this in a blog sale and I definitely think that once I finish this, I shall definitely be repurchasing. The lipstick is £25 but it's Chanel so that's ok right?

Lots of Love,
Clare
